A good day for some Airblaster accessories.

I woke up this morning and the first thing I did was slap my Airblaster beanie on my head. Yep, that's right, before my jeans, socks, or t shirt. A good beanie is man's best friend. I like dog's, but my hat comes first.

So anyway I walked around a while, drank some water, checked my emails, and then thought, what's next? It was bright outside so I slapped on some Airshades. Man I was feeling cool.

I love waking up to music so I threw on some Iggy Pop and jammed out to "lust for life". My feet started getting cold so I slapped on some Airsocks for maximum warmth and comfort.

Alright, I'll get dressed, but before I fly out the door, to walk for my morning coffee, I threw in my Airwallet filled with 3 crisp 1 dollar bills! Man we're loaded!

Almost out the door! Wait! Safety is key in my neighborhood, so I clicked my Airleash around my ankle and started on my way!

This photo is of a couple of complete dorks. These dorks are the people that distribute our Airblaster product in Germany and Austria. They are dorks but we think they are really cool. The post below with the basement boarding made me remember this little gem. What you see above is a Carpet Boarding video made for Nike. The star of the film is yours truly. I was asked to make this by a good friend Jesse Gibson who is the man behind the Robot Food films. Jess was working with Nike on a few little video shorts for their site and the idea of a Carpet Boarding video came up. For one reason or another I had gained a reputation for being good at carpet boarding and the invite to be part of this movie was given to me. Nike actually paid me a good amount of money to do this. I guess I can say I am a professional carpet boarder. I just need to wait till it hits the X Games and I am all set.

You might ask yourself, How did one of the Airblaster founders and owners become so good at carpet boarding? Well, friends it is simple. Back in the day when I would spend my fall just waiting for snow a good group of friends and I started spending hours carpet skateboarding in our house. We even built funny little contraptions we used as jibs. We would play games of skate all hours of the day. After years of this I guess I picked up a few tricks of my own.

I am going to open up a little challenge. It is open to anyone that wants to send in a little video short of them carpet boarding, trampoline boarding or whatever it is you do to get ready for the season. The video I like the best will get a new pair of 2010 Airgoggles. The videos must be shorter then 3 minuets and sent to us in the form of a Vimeo or Youtube link. This contest goes till the end of the month. All video links must be emailed to me at information@myairblaster.com by October 31st. I will pick a winner and post the winning video on our blog. I just got this little video from some Airblaster fans in Canada. I am posting it because it put a smile on my face. I think it is safe to say we all are familiar with doing things such as this when we wait for the snow to fall. Thanks a bunch guys for the video and before you know it we will all be enjoying some fresh days on real snow.

I just noticed a cool little story about our Airblaster operation on www.yobeat.com. The story was created by Preston Strout from High Cascade Snowboard camp. I guess preston is doing a little visit to all snowboard companies that are based in Portland Oregon our home town. Preston started his visits with us. I am not sure if this is because we come first alphabetically or because he just likes us. Whatever the case I am stoked he visited our office. Come to think of it I do not even remember him coming by. Preston is a good friend and I feel he has been by our Portland office a few times and I do not remember any on where he mentioned he was doing a little recon for a possible story. Whatever the case I find his writing funny and I would recommend you check it out.
